Collins is an experienced practitioner in Climate Change and Development, with 7 years of expertise across public, private, and non-profit sectors. His work spans local (Kenya), continental (Africa), and international levels. Collins is a certified Associate Environmental Impact Assessment expert accredited by the National Environment Management Authority of Kenya, and an enthusiast of Climate Finance and Loss and Damage negotiations. His professional journey includes significant contributions to climate governance in Africa, particularly highlighted by his recent leadership in managing the CSO GSF readiness project across 12 African countries. Collins’s portfolio is rich with projects encompassing WASH and GCF initiatives, as well as policy-driven work in carbon markets, land use planning, plastic waste management, air quality, and biodiversity conservation. Currently, he serves as the Climate Change Programme Coordinator at Dorcas Aid International.
